At Vantage Psychotherapy & Performance Coaching, we believe that effective therapy is built upon professionalism, integrity, transparency and trust. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and ethical environment in which every client is treated with dignity and compassion.<\/p>

Professional Registration<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

Our principal therapist is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>

BACP Registration Number:<\/b> 419309<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Registration with the BACP demonstrates a commitment to recognised standards of professional practice, ongoing supervision, continuing professional development and ethical responsibility. The BACP Register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA), providing additional reassurance for members of the public.<\/p>

Clients are welcome to verify our registration directly through the BACP Register.<\/p>

Our work is guided by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>

    Clinical Supervision<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

    Professional supervision forms an essential part of safe and effective psychotherapy.<\/p>

    Regular clinical supervision provides independent oversight of our work, supports reflective practice and helps ensure that clients continue to receive safe, ethical and high-quality care.<\/p>

    No personally identifying information is shared during supervision unless required by law or where there is a safeguarding obligation.<\/p>

    Continuing Professional Development<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

    Psychological research and clinical practice continue to evolve.<\/p>

    To maintain high standards of care, we undertake regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD), ensuring that our knowledge and skills remain current and informed by contemporary evidence, emerging research and recognised best practice.<\/p>

    Confidentiality<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

    Everything discussed during therapy is treated as confidential.<\/p>

    There are, however, a small number of situations where confidentiality may need to be limited. These may include:<\/p>

    • Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person.<\/li>
    • Where safeguarding concerns involve a child or vulnerable adult.<\/li>
    • Where disclosure is required by law or a court order.<\/li>
    • Where there is another overriding legal or professional obligation.<\/li><\/ul>

      Wherever possible, these situations will be discussed openly with you before any information is shared.<\/p>

      Further information about confidentiality is provided during the initial consultation and within our client agreement.<\/p>

      Clear boundaries help create a safe, consistent and reliable therapeutic relationship. Information regarding appointments, communication, cancellations, confidentiality and professional expectations will be discussed at the outset of therapy.<\/p>

      Complaints<\/b><\/span><\/h2>

      We hope every client has a positive experience with Vantage Psychotherapy & Performance Coaching.<\/p>

      If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to raise your concerns with us in the first instance so that we have the opportunity to resolve them promptly and fairly.<\/p>

      Where appropriate, clients may also access the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy\u2019s Professional Conduct Procedure.<\/p>
